When asked to rank his visit to the University of Miami was this weekend on a scale of one to 10, Hillsborough senior defensive lineman Earl Moore said it was “100.”
So if anyone was thinking Moore was still pondering his choices, which, among many others, includes South Florida, Florida and Florida State, think again. The 6-foot-1, 280-pound Moore committed to Miami last summer on an unofficial visit and this weekend’s official trip only solidified his stance.
“I’m still a Hurricane,” Moore said Sunday. “That hasn’t changed. It was a great trip. Really good.”
Moore said he was joined in Coral Gables by several other Hurricanes recruits. With Jefferson defensive end Tyriq McCord recently committing to “The U,” Miami has done quite well for its defense in Tampa. McCord made a verbal commitment earlier this month on national television during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl game.
