East Bay has named Arturo Meza as its new boys soccer coach, replacing Jonathan Drake who stepped down at the end of the season.
Meza was the head coach at Spoto last season, and inherits a side that went 15-4-1 this past season, falling to Plant City in the Class 5A-District 8 tournament semifinals, but that loses a talented group of seniors including standout goalkeeper Derrick Miranda.
