Meyer: Tebow still under evaluation

Florida coach Urban Meyer released a statement about Tim Tebow’s status this afternoon. The Gator quarterback and 2007 Heisman Trophy winner suffered a concussion in Saturday’s 41-7 win at Kentucky and spent the night in a Lexington hospital.
“Our medical and athletic training staff will continue to monitor Tim and evaluate how much rest and recovery he needs,’’ the statement read.
The team is currently practicing. Older players were given the day off.
