Cambridge Christian senior right-handed pitcher Peter Miller was selected by the New York Mets in Wednesday’s MLB draft. He was picked in the 38th round (1,142nd overall).
Miller went 6-0 with a save and a 0.89 ERA this season and struck out 65 in 39 1/3 innings pitched. He was the recent recipient of the Wade Boggs Athletic Achievement Award, and has signed a scholarship with Florida State.
