Favorite Food: “Probably Bang Bang Shrimp at Bonefish. I like to eat there a lot.”
Favorite Movie: “There’s a couple, ‘Old School’ for comedy and ‘The Boondock Saints’ for a more serious movie.”
Pregame Routine: “Pretty simple, basically listen to some AC/DC and that’s pretty much it, no superstitions or anything.”
First Soccer Memory: “I think when my (under-13) team went up to the Jefferson Cup and we ended up beating the No.1 team in the nation. They were completely better than us, but our team got a good team win because we all had to play a part in it, and we ended up winning 2-1, very memorable for me.”
Best Soccer Memory: “My sister came up to a game in Milwaukee, playing indoor up there, it was the first time she’d seen me play in a while. I ended up getting Player of the Game, got two goals in the game, it was nice to have her in the stands to see me do that.”

It’s nice to see a local player coming home and the fact that he was signed only after the trial stint even though he was at the combines is a testament to his work ethic. I didn’t get a chance to see his free kick goal against FC Dallas, but heard it was fantastic!

Burt’s manged to work his way on a team that is already deep with midfielders. He’s playing that well right now.

He’s probably going to win the prize for ‘most interesting number’ with the #77 jersey.
The uniqueness of the number, combined with Burt being a local player, could make it a popular one once the customizable jerseys are available.
