First Soccer Memory: Arsenal 2, Liverpool 0, 26 May 1989 – “I was a Liverpool fan, and still am, the final league game where they played Arsenal. They just had to lose by one goal to win the title, and Michael Thomas, who I ended up playing with later on at Wimbledon, scored the second goal in the last minute to win the title for Arsenal at Liverpool. I was devastated.”

Best Soccer Memory: “For me, it would be scoring the only goal of the game, my first goal for West Ham, in front of a packed crowd at Upton Park against Burnley (in 2004), which as a Preston man is a big rivalry. We won the game 1-0, my family was in the stands, and that was a big game for me.”
