After more than a month and 150 applicants, Jesuit is finally ready to unveil their new head football coach.
Athletic director Terry Rupp is scheduled to present the new coach at a 2 p.m. press conference today at the school.
Since former coach Joe Ross resigned on Jan. 8, Rupp has been poring over applications from all over the country to find Ross’ replacement. Plant coach Robert Weiner, a Jesuit alumnus and former Tigers assistant coach, was offered the job but turned it down. Freedom coach James Harrell, also a former Tigers assistant, interviewed for the job last week.
