Armwood junior safety Leon McQuay III, who had an interception return for a touchdown against Miami Central in the Class 6A state championship game, and Berkeley Prep senior running back Nelson Agholor, who led the Bucs to the 3A state semifinals, have landed spots on USA Today’s All-USA high school football team.
McQuay earned a first-team position on the defense for USA Today while Agholor, who rushed for nearly 2,000 yards this fall, is on the second team offense. Both players are undecided on their college choices. McQuay still has another year of high school ball to play and has plenty of offers already but five-star recruit Agholor’s pick is being waited with much anticipartion.
Agholor has 26 Division I-A offers on the table including all the state schools, Alabama, USC, Auburn, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Michigan.
