Tampa Bay Storm linebacker/fullback Torrance Marshall on Wednesday was named the AFL’s Ironman of the Month.
Marshall started the season as the team’s top linebacker but three weeks ago was thrust into the starting fullback role because of ineffective play. Marhsall has played well offensively since the transition, while also continuing to contribute on defense.
The honor for Marshall comes one day after teammate Lawrence Samuels was named the AFL’s Ironman of the Week following his performance in the Storm’s win over rival Orlando.
