As we were just talking about Tampa Bay’s lack of respect, B.D. from Arlington, Va., pointed out to me that announcer John Madden has decided to skip Tampa Bay’s home game against Seattle this Sunday.

Shannon “Chief” Cherry, Destin, Florida, there are a lot more of us who enjoy Madden than otherwise. And he really knows football, (unlike many Bucs fans on here), who are blind to any so-called negative comments about “their” Bucs. They’re easy to spot. They use “we” a lot. You know: “we” really played well. “We” kicked their butts. “We” scored 30 points. “We” blocked really well. “We” played great defense. NO, “WE” sat on our fat arses, eating hot dogs and screaming at the top of our lungs. “WE” left at halftime to go take a whiz...BUT “WEEEE” didn’t do a darn thing other than that, okay. “WE” are “WE” And the Bucs are “THEY” k?

I disagree on the Berminator, I think he’s great… And the only one to pick the Bucs last Sunday over Carolina!

Madden is a bubbling buffoon. It is amazing to me that he even has a job as an analyst. Since we’re on TV football people, here are a few I would can today. Chris Berman, his act is stale and repetitive. Keith Olberman, waste of air. Shannon Sharp, what the hell did he say? Chris Carter, adds nothing.

Michael, man, take it easy. People use the term “we” all the time when referring to their hometown team. Most fans of pro, college or otherwise teams get a little upset when negative comments are made about “their” team. Natural effect of being a fan. As far as Madden is concerned, he should know more then “us” the fan, he coached on a professional level, and also has alot of time to watch film and so forth. But, he says the same thing every game and his bumbling is annoying.
