Berkeley Prep wins 4A state volleyball title

Ace by senior outside hitter Jordan Burgess gives Berkeley Prep the fourth set, 25-16. With that, the Buccaneers claim the Class 4A state volleyball championship over Orlando Bishop Moore, 3-1.

Berkeley Prep has now won 15 state titles, tied for the second most in state volleyball history.

Set 3:  Bishop Moore 25, Berkeley Prep 15

Bishop Moore wins 3rd set, 25-15, to keep match alive. Berkeley Prep leads 4A state VB title game 2-1

Sophomore SIdney Brown scores two straight points (kill, block) to close deficit to 17-11 in 3rd set.

Bishop Moore leads 9-5, Jordan Burgess leading her team back into it.

Bishop Moore opens 3rd set with four straight kills and then an attack error on Berkeley to take 5-0 lead.

Set 2: Berkeley Prep 25, Bishop Moore 18

On a block by Jessica Silva and Jordan Burgess, Berkeley Prep wins 2nd set, 25-18, to take 2-0 lead in 4A state VB title match. One set to go.

Jessica Silva was responsible for four points in the first set, Jordan Burgess had 3 kills, 2 blocks while Dagostino had 4 kills, 3 blks.
