ST. PETERSBURG—The field lights have gone out at Tropicana Field, and today’s game between the Rays and Athletics is under a delay that’s supposed to last about another 15 minutes.
We’re in the bottom of the first inning with no score, and the Rays have B.J. Upton and Carlos Pena on first and second with two out. Matt Garza retired the side in the top of the frame for the Rays.
Storm cells have been moving through the area for at least the last 90 minutes.
