The Lighting finished fourth at the eight-team prospect tournament in Traverse City, Mich., following Wednesday’s 4-3 loss in overtime to Carolina. The Lightning finished the tournament with a 2-1-1 record.

James Wright scored the tying goal with 8:33 left in regulation before the Hurricane’s top pick in the 2010 draft, Jeff Skinner, notched the winner 3:36 into overtime. Invitee Matt Butcher scored two goals for Tampa Bay.

Wright, who spent half of last season with the Lightning before finishing the season in junior, finished tied for second in the tournament with three goals and was tied for third with six points.
Brett Connolly, the sixth overall pick in 2010, finished with two goals and four points while Carter Ashton, the 29th overall pick in 2009, Dana Tyrell and Richard Panik all had a goal and assist.

Tampa Bay will open main training camp on Friday with the first day on the ice coming Saturday at the Ice Sports Forum in Brandon.
