Leto senior left-handed pitcher Nick Gonzalez is the final player with local ties to be selected on Day 2 of the MLB draft.
The Falcons hurler was picked Tuesday by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 30th round (921st overall), just four picks before the draft ended for the day.
Gonzalez, who has signed a scholarship with USF, went 3-3 with two saves and posted a 2.51 ERA over 47 1/3 innings pitched in 2010.
