Leto’s Deering going on the road

Jeremy Deering will make second official visit this weekend.

The Leto senior running back is scheduled to visit Illinois beginning on Friday. Deering has also scheduled his third visit to Florida State the weekend of Jan. 8, Leto head coach Hugh Dehnert said.

Deering will follow up his FSU visit with one to Rutgers on Jan. 22. That will leave him one official visit remaining, which he likely will choose between Florida, Florida Atlantic, Alabama and Texas.

Deering, who has more than 20 Division I offers, is in the process of narrowing his choices down to six. He’s been rehabilitating a broken collarbone he sustained in the final game of the season.
