Lennard girls hoops coach accepts job at Eastern Kentucky

Allie Turley has certainly been busy this summer.

In May, Turley resigned from his position as head boys basketball coach at Brandon to accept the head girls basketball job at Lennard.

A few weeks ago, however, Turley resigned from Lennard and has confirmed he’s been hired as the new director of basketball operations for Eastern Kentucky University’s women’s basketball team.

Turley took over at Brandon after longtime coach Mark Hermann resigned in 2008. He guided the Eagles to a 11-16 record and to the Class 6A region quarterfinals this last season, where the Eagles lost to eventual 6A regional runner-up St. Petersburg, 58-43, in the quarterfinals.
