One visit was all Justin Lattimore needed.

Before leaving the University of Illinois today, the Gaither tight end let the coaching staff he will be joining them next year. Lattimore verbally committed during his weekend visit to the campus.
Lattimore picked Illinois over Iowa, Ball State, Florida Atlantic and a couple of other Division I schools that offered scholarships. Earlier in the football season, Lattimore committed to Iowa, but when Illinois came through with an offer, he decommitted.
The senior tight end, who also played defensive end for the Cowboys, led the team in receiving this season.
