Land O’Lakes TE Kent Taylor breaks hand

Land O’ Lakes TE Kent Taylor, the nation’s No. 1-rated tight end in the country according to Rivals.com, said on Facebook Sunday night he had broke his hand during the Gators 36-0 win over Anclote on Friday.

Taylor had three catches for 67 yards including a 43-yard catch-and-run TD. It is unknown whether he will be sidelined for Land O’ Lakes season opener against Zephyrhills.

Taylor, who says he will pick from Alabama, Florida, Georgia or Penn State as to where he will play college football, had 35 catches for 571 yards and nine TD in 2010.
