Land O’Lakes senior tight end Kent Taylor has made it to the final four. The nation’s top recruited tight end told the Tampa Tribune on Wednesday afternoon that he has whittled down his choices of schools to, in no particularly order, Florida, Alabama, Georgia and Penn State.
“Individually,” said the 6-foot-5, 220 pound Taylor, who had 35 catches for 571 yards and 9 TD in 2010, “I just thought each school would be the best fit for me when I decide between the four.”
Taylor indicated he will make his final decision in late December, possibly early January, and plans to make the official visits this fall. Taylor said he will go to Penn State when it hosts Alabama on Sept. 10, that he will go to Alabama when it hosts LSU on Nov. 5 and that he hasn’t yet planned visits with Florida and Georgia.
