Kroll hits seven 3’s to lead Tampa Catholic over Bishop Verot

Tampa Catholic’s girls basketball team extended their winning streak to a county-best 12 with a 72-51 victory against Fort Meyers Bishop Verot Saturday.
Sophomore Michah Kroll, one of four Crusaders averaging double digits in scoring, led the team with 25 points that included seven three pointers. It was only the third loss this season for Bishop Verot, which recently won the Division VI championship of the Dunbar Invitational.
Tampa Catholic improves to 17-1, with its lone loss to Sickles on Nov. 28.
