Robinson’s football team is just one win away for playing for a state title, but the Knights don’t have an easy task this week with a trip to Belle Glade to take on nationally-ranked Glades Central.
Still, as Robinson quarterback Blake Rice told Tribune staff writer Joey Johnston, “Look, we’re not scared … of anything.”
Rice, a junior in his first season as a varsity starter, was the focus on Tuesday morning’s TBO.com Wake-Up Call. He talked about being a self-proclaimed “knucklehead” during his time on the junior varsity squad, and his coaches talked about him growing into the starting quarterback role and evolving into one of the Knights’ best leaders.
