King’s Veras picks HCC

King senior baseball player Josciel Veras has committed to Hillsborough Community College, Lions coach Jim Macaluso said.
Veras, an infielder, has been a starter each of the past two seasons. He hit .368 with seven doubles, two triples, 14 RBIs and 19 runs scored last season. As a sophomore, Veras hit .343.
