King High boys soccer coach Chris Lewis has decided to step down, with assistant coach Scott Crawford set to take over the position next season.
In an e-mail, Lewis said he was stepping down in order to pursue additional community service work as Reserve Deputy for the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office.
Lewis was named the Western Conference National Division Coach of the Year this past season, with three of his players, GK Chris Garcia, D C.R. Lewis and M Steven Scrivens also being named to the Division’s First Team.
