Bit of a surprise here, but Jussi Jokinen appears to be a healthy scratch. There was no indication of a change from this morning in terms of the lineup and Jokinen did not appear on any injury report in the past couple of days.
I know yesterday interim coach Rick Tocchet mentioned how hard it was for him to continually tell Ryan Craig that he was out of the lineup, but in recent days Tocchet has talked about how Jokinen has improved his game since he was placed on waivers and cleared on Dec. 20.
If there is something other than a healty scratch situation, I’ll be sure to pass along to you.
And Lukas Krajicek and Paul Ranger are also out with upper-body injuries, so Ty Wishart indeed makes his NHL debut after being recalled on an emergency basis Saturday morning.
