The USF men’s basketball team played like a team ready to pull off a huge upset over No. 10-ranked West Virginia for much of the first half of Wednesday night’s showdown at the Sun Dome.
That quickly changed in the second half once USF started hitting shots about as often as it snows in Florida. West Virginia rolled to a 69-50 win, and USF junior guard Dominique Jones was not a happy person afterward.
