The Hillsborough County boys and girls soccer coaches’ poll were released Tuesday with Jesuit remaining on top as it has all season.
In the final girls poll of the season, Newsome returns to the top spot after capturing the 5A-7 district title last Friday defeating Bloomingdale 1-0. Steinbrenner, also a district champion, moves up a spot to the No. 2 postion.
The coaches poll, in its third season, is released weekly and a tabulated by Wharton soccer coaches Denis Vukorep (girls) and Scott Ware (boys) and accepts votes from any Hillsborough County soccer coach. Teams listed with records (according to poll) as of Monday and previous ranking in parenthesis.
