Jesuit junior pitcher John Kilichowski has given a verbal commitment to play baseball at Vanderbilt, Tigers coach Richie Warren announced.
Last season as a sophomore, Kilichowski compiled 11.2 innings of work in 11 games. In that limited work, Kilichowski, who went 1-1 with a save and a 1.20 ERA, struck out 15 batters.
Kilichowski recently collected an automatic invitation to the National Team Trials next summer, part of USA Baseball’s 2011 National Team Identification Series.
