Jennings, Chirinos among 14 sent back to minor league camp

PORT CHARLOTTE – Busy morning here at the Charlotte Sports Complex as 14 players were reassigned to minor league camp.

None of the 14 had a chance to making the squad, even outfielder Desmond Jennings, so the moves were to get more innings for the pitchers and more at-bats for the position players.

Here is the list: RHP Chris Archer, RHP Alex Cobb, RHP Dane De La Rosa, RHP Brandon Gomes, RHP Dirk Hayhurst, C Nevin Ashley, 1B/OF Leslie Anderson, INF Tim Beckham, UTL Russell Canzler, C Robinson Chirinos, UTL J.J. Furmaniak, OF Desmond Jennings, INF Daniel Mayora, UTL Stephen Vogt.
