Jefferson quarterback Quentin Williams will have a chance this weekend to make his case for a spot in this summer’s presitigious Elite 11 Quarterback Competition.
Dragons coach Mike Fenton said Williams will attend an Elite 11 regional camp on Sunday at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando. High school signal callers attending the two-hour event will go through a series of drills, and an impressive showing could lead to one of 12 spots in this summer’s main attraction.
Williams was a Class 3A first team all-state pick in 2009 after leading Hillsborough County in passing yards and touchdown passes while helping the Dragons reach the Class 3A state semifinals.
