Jefferson’s Williams and Davis getting noticed

Two Jefferson players who had coming out parties at various offseason workouts and tournaments are reaping the rewards.

Quarterback Quentin Williams and receiver Andre “Freak Show” Davis received scholarship offers from Florida International University, Dragons head coach Mike Fenton said. Davis, who was the unofficial MVP at USF’s Sling & Shoot 7-on-7 tournament, also received an offer from the Bulls.

The Williams to Davis combination will be a popular one this season. Both players helped lead the Dragons to a 40-0 victory against Chamberlain in last week’s Kickoff Classic.
