A trio of quarterbacks are vying to replace Jefferson’s ultimate No. 3.
The Dragons returns only two starters from last year’s state championship team. They have to replace 20 starters, the most notable vacancy, is the one left by state-record setting quarterback Quentin Williams.
Jesuit transfer Tyler Small, Gaither transfer Zach Condon and Deondre Porter, the Dragons Junior Varsity quarterback last season, all worked with first-year head coach Jeremy Earle during Monday’s first practice.
Making the quarterbacks look good are a host of talented wide receivers, including Adrian Jenkins and Charles Booth.
