The Jefferson football team will know on Tuesday if starting defensive back Rodney Mills will be able to play in Thursday’s game against Plant.

Dragons coach Mike Fenton said Mills suffered a dislocated shoulder in Jefferson’s 29-28 victory against Newsome Friday night and is questionable The injury occurred in the second quarter and could keep Mills sidelined against the Panthers.
One of the team leaders in tackles and interceptions, Mills also serves as the team’s kickoff returner.
Jefferson travels to Dad’s Stadium on Thursday riding high on a two-game winning streak. Plant is 0-1 after they dropped the regular season opener to Tampa Bay Tech and were unable to play Hillbsorough this weekend because of inclement weather.
