Jefferson’s Jenkins picks FIU

Jefferson senior receiver Adrian Jenkins has verbally committed to Floirda International University, Jefferson coach Jeremy Earle said.
The 6-foot-3 senior, Jefferson’s leading receiver with 15 catches for 182 yards and two touchdowns, visited FIU over the weekend.
Jenkins was a member of Jefferson’s Class 3A state championship team last season. As a junior, he finished 18 catches for 243 yards and two touchdowns.
Jefferson (1-3) plays Hillsborough (4-1) on Thursday in a Class 6A District 8 game.
