The recruitment of Jefferson receiver Andre Davis has become a bit clearer.
Davis, who holds more than 20 Division I scholarship offers, said Monday that he has trimmed his potential list of suitors to seven programs.
The list of who made the cut are, in no particular order: Miami, Florida State, USF, Rutgers, Kansas, Texas Tech and West Virginia.
“I don’t have a date on when I will commit or anything though,” said Davis, who added he’d like to visit each of the schools before deciding anything (thus far, he’s seen the in-state programs).
Davis attended the USF SuperBull event over the weekend at Raymond James Stadium. Among the other players at the event were Davis’ teammate, linebacker/tight end Ramik Wilson, Armwood quarterback Josh Grady and Freedom linebacker Keith Lewis.
