Jefferson’s Davis picks up two offers

Jefferson receiver Andre Davis has picked up two more scholarship offers, Dragons coach Mike Fenton said Tuesday morning.
They came from Texas Tech and East Carolina.
Davis, a Class 3A first team all-state pick as a junior who led the area with 19 touchdown receptions in 2009, also holds offers from Miami, Florida State, USF and Florida International.
In addition, Fenton said sophomore Chris Moore, Jefferson’s second-leading receiver in 2009, has been getting some heavy interest from Kansas.
