Jefferson’s Davis makes impression at Nike combine

Jefferson junior receiver Andre Davis made quite an impression over the weekend at the Nike Combine in Orlando.

Davis, who had more than 1,000 receiving yards in 2009 along with a county-best 19 touchdown grabs, was among the RISE 7, a list compiled by ESPN RISE that featured the top seven prospects among the 1,000 attendees.

Countryside offensive lineman Tyler Moore also made the RISE 7 list. Six of the seven prospects listed were from Florida high schools.
