Jefferson High School will host the seventh annual NFL 7-on-7 National Tournament on July 9-12.
The event began in 2004 with four teams but has grown each year. This year, 22 teams will participate, with each representing an NFL market/team. Tournament action takes place over two days (July 10-11), with round-robin play on the first day determining seeds for the single-elimination portion of the event, which will be held on Day 2.
Teams qualify by participating in one of 16 regional tournaments. According to the event’s website, players must complete the NFL High School Player Development program.
