Jefferson’s football team is preparing for a busy spring, and not just with workouts.

The Dragons expect to be hosting a lot of college coaches. Two rising juniors have already caught the eye of the Big East. Syracuse has offered scholarships to fullback/linebacker Fred Overstreet and lineman Garrett Wolfe.
“It’s the first offers for both these players, but there should be many more,” Jefferson coach Mike Fenton said. “Usually once they get the first one, the others start coming, especially in the Big East, which is so competitive.”
