Jeff Garcia To Start Against San Diego
Posted Dec 21, 2008 by Anwar S. Richardson
Updated Dec 21, 2008 at 12:39 PM
It appears that Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Jeff Garcia will start against San Diego this Sunday.
Garcia was not among the list of inactive players Tampa Bay just released, and with Brian Griese listed at the third string QB, that clears the way for Garcia.
In addition, Luke McCown will backup Garcia and Josh Johnson was declared inactive, while WR Joey Galloway is active.
Tampa Bay’s other inactive players are:
WR Dexter Jackson
LB Matt McCoy
LB Rod Wilson
T James Lee
DE Patrick Chukwurah
DT Greg Peterson

Is it me or has the defense steadily gotten worse since Monte announced he is leaving

Time to pack up Monte. The defense is playing like they’re going to TN instead of the post season. Also, I wish more Bucs had the kind of heart Garcia exhibits. What Garcia lacks in talent is made up with pure grit.
