Iwamura shows off mound presence

First it was Ichiro making headlines by throwing a bullpen session at Japan’s WBC training camp. Now, it appears Akinori Iwamura has joined in the fun.
NPB Tracker passes along a story from Sanspo that includes a photo of Iwamura on the mound. It doesn’t appear that he’s taking things real seriously, and the translation provided by NPB backs that up: ”there won’t be an appearance. Ichiro-san will go for us (laughter)”.
