He’s still No. 91 in pewter, but he’s no longer Greg White.
Tampa Bay’s second-year DE has officially changed his name. On Monday, a Hillsborough County Circuit Court granted White’s request to change his name from Gregory Alphonso White Jr. to Stylez G, White.
Circuit Judge Steve Scott Stephens signed off on White’s petition and as White walked through the Bucs locker room Monday, he gleefully distributed copies of the final judgment.
White said he picked his new name from a character in the 1985 movie “Teen Wolf,’’ starring Michael J. Fox.
“That was his best friend’s name,’’ White said. “I always liked that name. It’s not that I don’t like Greg White.’‘
In the movie, Fox’s friend is named Rupert “Stiles’’ Stilinski. White changed the spelling and adopted the name as his own.

Greg, if you could play every down, people would remember your name. If you could retain the starting left end job that they handed to you in the offseason, people would remember your name. If in being a pass rushing specialist only you led the league in sacks, people would remember your name. If you made meaningful sacks in crunch time that was game winning or game changing, people would remember your name. Greg, you where known in the Tampa area as the good player who overcame odds and went from Best Buy to the Arena leauge to the NFL, a model of hard work. Now that you brought attention to yourself if you don’t man up and dominate from here on out, you will be remembered nationaly as the clown from Best Buy that changed his name.

Attention All:The season is OVER!!! I now break my silence(for negative comments), BlOW IT UP. Everyone is hurt. We just got embarressed twice, can’t run or throw the ball, everyone on a line likes to jump offsides(Always Trueblood!) all day and we still have NO Qb. I told ya’ll about Garcia. How’s Favre looking to you now Mitch R? Is everything still looking good? Is it still everyone elses’ fault for this teams woes? Bottom line this is what we get with Allen/Gruden and No Kiffin next year? I’m flying my flag at half staff from here on out! Thanks for this crap AGAIN! Fire Allen/Gruden!
