The USF at Notre Dame game is set to tip-off in less than half an hour.
The Fighting Irish won at the Sun Dome, 74-73, on Jan. 5. However, Notre Dame is expecting a much different USF team this time around.
“They’re the hottest team in the land,” Irish guard Tory Jackson told the Fort Wayne (Ind.) Journal Gazette. “They are hitting everything. They got great guard play. They are doing everything.”
Notre Dame’s Luke Harangody, the Big East’s leading scorer at 24.8 points a game, is pumped for the rematch against a charged-up Bulls team which has won four consecutive games.
“We love that,” Harangody said. “They come in here winning three or four in a row. That’s great, bring it on. We are excited for them.
“They are a great team. We learned that down there in South Florida.”
If you’re in the Tampa Bay area today, the game is on WFTS, Ch. 28. If you’re like me and out of town, check out ESPN360.com if you have access to the site, or if not, channelsurfing.net is a great website to watch live sporting events free from around the globe.
