Iowa State offers Robinson’s Gonzalez

Robinson rising senior Ruben Gonzalez has landed his first scholarship offer from a Big 12 program. It came Thursday from Iowa State, Knights assistant Shawn Taylor said.
Gonzalez, who doubles as a starting receiver and defensive back, has reached double-digits in scholarship offers now. Among the other Division I programs to extend an offer are Washington State, Florida International, New Mexico, Purdue, Minnesota and Toledo.
