Already with five Division I scholarship offers, the interest in Plant City junior tight end Jordan Prestwood is full swing.
Raiders coach Jason Strunk said coaches from Michigan State, Notre Dame, Tennessee and West Virginia all of have stopped by in the past few days to visit with Prestwood, a Tribune All-Hillsborough County first team pick this season.
Strunk expects offers could come from each of those programs shortly, which would join a list that includes USF, FIU, UCF, South Carolina and Purdue.
Also, Strunk said sophomore quarterback Bennie Coney has been garnering his fair share of looks from Division I programs. Coney recently completed his first full season as a starter and threw for more than 1,600 yards and 14 touchdowns in helping Plant City reach the Class 5A state playoffs.
