Ice cream social washed out

The Ice Cream Social that was supposed to take place today inside the stadium at Charlotte Sports Park has been cancelled.
You can blame heavy rains for that.
The Rays were to hit on the main field then serve ice cream to all fans who attended the free workout.
But rain began falling at at about 10:15 a.m. and the players ran for the cover of the clubhouse.
Oh, well.
A makeup date has not been set.
