Hudson coach Mark Nash said Cobras senior QB Zack Wynn has been selected to compete in this month’s Florida Athletic Coaches Association Football North/South All-Star Classic.

Wynn, a 6-foot-3, 205-pound four year starter at quarterback, punter and placekicker, was the first Pasco County quarterback to surpass 7,000 career passing yards since Land O’ Lakes’ Drew Weatherford. This season he threw for 2,385 yards and 17 touchdowns, ran for 608 yards and six scores, averaged better than 42 yards per punt and made three field goals.

Wynn is scheduled to make an official visit to Western Michigan on Dec. 11. Thus far that is the only Division I FBS school to show interest in the quarterback, though he has also drawn some interest from Division I FCS schools, including Harvard.

The complete rosters for the FACA North/South All-Star Classic, which will be held on Dec. 22 at Firemen’s Field in Sebring, have not been released yet.
