The window for applying for the job of head football coach at Hudson High closed today at 4 p.m. During that time, which opened March 12 when Mark Nash accepted the job at Nature Coast, the Cobras grabbed nine candidates.
In alphabetical order, here’s the group seeking to become the next Cobras head football coach:
Gary Allen (River Ridge assistant football coach), Tom Carter (former Land O’ Lakes associate head coach), Matt Durchik (football coach at Crews Lake Middle School in Spring Hill), Justin Fenton (Mitchell defensive coordinator and head wrestling coach), Cliff Lohrey (former Central football coach), Time (pronounced Tim) McCoy (former high school coach in Kentucky), William Schmitz (former Jesuit football coach), Michael Taylor (former offensive coordinator at Bethel College in Tennessee) and Tim White (current Land O’ Lakes offensive coordinator and former Hudson JV head coach and varsity assistant).
