This country is on its way again. We are not going to default, the Senate and the House both concur, and the debt crisis seems over at least for a while or until the next big problem.

Now the NFL is settled and the season is on, too. Move over, baseball, and we will all play together in the heat, fans too, in Tampa. Speaking of baseball, did you see Derek Jeter’s new house in Tampa? Wow, only in America.

Tom would have loved it all. He was never a negative guy; always saw the good, not the bad. Witness these comments from his article on Tiger Woods, after he announced his indiscretions publicly back in February, 2010.

“Peter Pureheart asked the world to forgive him for an indiscretion or two and in time, most of the world will do that. Gosh, he is good at golf. Gosh, he’s been good to the media and with the public. He can not only play but he has been able to appreciate success, not to let it affect him and keep his feet on the ground and his eyes straight ahead. Even now he held a public press conference for invited reporters in Orlando at his home, to make the announcement that he had strayed.

Tiger Woods is one of the great sports athletes of America, one of the most appreciative. All who follow his career hope that he will follow through with his stated aim to be a good man and father and husband again, as well as the world’s finest at what he does. This is a shocker for us all. Please no aftershocks.

He titled it: “Come on Tiger, be Tiger Again.”

Give the guy a chance. Now again, he has just announced he is back on the tour. Good.

Also give our ole USA a chance. We, and I emphasize we, will get our budget right.

it is a great country.

Babaloo!
