Armwood grad SirChauncey Holloway, currently a freshman running back at Liberty, was named the Big South Conference’s Freshman of the Week following his performance Saturday during the Flames’ 55-19 win over Presbyterian.
Holloway enjoyed the best game of his collegiate career, rushing for 99 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries against the Blue Hose. Entering the game, Holloway had just 86 yards on 19 carries this season, though he did have three rushing touchdowns.
It is the first conference honor for Holloway, and he becomes the third Liberty player this season to earn Big South Conference Freshman of the Week honors.
