Hillsborough senior outfielder David Richardson said Friday that he has committed to Hillsborough Community College and intends to sign with the program as early as next week.
Richardson, a three-year starter for the Terriers, hit a combined .318 over the past three years and totaled four home runs, 30 RBIs and 59 runs scored during that stretch. He also led the team in stolen bases in each of the past two seasons, with 19 as a junior and 12 this season.
Richardson played for the West all-stars in this weekend’s FACA Baseball All-Star Classic in Sebring. The West went 1-1 at the tournament to place third.
